I want to thank you for being a reader, a friend who is brave enough to visit my quirky little blog and to let my articles ping your email inbox.

I am starting a new project that is actually quite ancient for me. You may (or not) know that I have published three books this year. Well, one is on faith, while two of them deal with technology and marketing. This time, I'm resurrecting some old creative works. I am compiling a book of my poetry and prose. I'm sure there will be a cartoon or two.

Stepping back for a minute to give you the context. Ever since I can remember, I have just wanted to see people smile. If you know me deeply at all, you will know that I am quite shy, yet I enjoy clowning around and putting myself out there a bit.

The clowning helped me. I was an anxious child, for some reason. I found that if I stopped taking myself so seriously, I could make people smile and, perhaps, brighten their day. I'm not going to lie to you here. It got me in trouble, mostly with women. I was accused of not ever being serious. So, there is this pendulum. There is this balance. I don't know if we ever completely balance, but we cross over that balance point each time we course correct.

So, I spent some years of a specific inspiration in my twenties and thirties. I began to write. I wrote poems, short stories, and skits... And now, I feel impressed to wrap them into a book.

There are a few problems with this idea:

  • Many of them are embarrassing, as they betray a less mature mindset. The things we think were so cool in our twenties and teens are not quite so lovely in the light of our mature mindset.
  • Many of them were inspired by real people. What if I don't want them to know how they inspired me?
  • There will be a lot of re-writes.
  • Who will read this thing?

A few of these gems were used in a public way before. I have performed at coffee houses on both ends of the country. While my fellow beatniks were reading their darkness and vampirey poems, I had fun with it. In the end, people smiled.

That's what I hope to do here. This is my reunion tour. I hope to bring a spark of happy joy in people's world. I hope that you will find a smile. I will be sure to have a special promo, once it's done.

If you would like to help, I would appreciate you sharing this blog (as well as my other one at the bizblogger.com) and share a review on any of my books.

Be blessed and keep smiling.

Oh, and I have two ideas for a name. If you want to help by voting on the name, please leave me a message below stating that you are interested and I will share my poll with you, so you can vote.
